| 1 | | AN ACT concerning elections.
|
| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 | | Section 1. Short title. This Act may be cited as the |
| 5 | | Women's Health Referendum Act.
|
| 6 | | Section 5. Referendum. The State Board of Elections shall |
| 7 | | cause a statewide advisory public question to be submitted to |
| 8 | | the voters at the general election to be held on November 4, |
| 9 | | 2014. The question shall appear in the following form: |
| 10 | | "Shall any health insurance plan in Illinois that provides |
| 11 | | prescription drug coverage be required to include |
| 12 | | prescription birth control as part of that coverage?"

| 13 | | The votes on the question shall be recorded as "Yes" or "No".
|
| 14 | | Section 10. Certification. The State Board of Elections |
| 15 | | shall immediately certify the question to be submitted to the |
| 16 | | voters of the entire State under Section 5 to each election |
| 17 | | authority in Illinois.

| 18 | | Section 15. Conflicts. If any provision of this Act |
| 19 | | conflicts with any other law, this Act controls.

| 20 | | Section 90. Repeal. This Act is repealed on January 1, |
