Amends the Court of Claims Act. Provides that if an award is made based on a claim for a wrongful discharge or termination of employment to a claimant who is a State employee, the award shall include back pay from the date of the employee's termination through the date of reinstatement.

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Court of Claims Act is amended by adding |
| 5 | | Section 25.1 as follows:

| 6 | | (705 ILCS 505/25.1 new) |
| 7 | | Sec. 25.1. Wrongful termination; back pay. If an award is |
