SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

Appropriates $60,000,000 to the State Board of Education for the purpose of making a grant to City of Chicago School District 299 to demolish the building that used to be Robert Emmet Elementary School and to construct a new high school on that site. Effective July 1, 2014.

    AN ACT concerning appropriations.

        Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5.  The amount of $60,000,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated to the State Board of Education for the purpose of making a grant to City of Chicago School District 299 to demolish the building that used to be Robert Emmet Elementary School and to construct a new high school on that site.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2014.
