| 2 | | WHEREAS, The Marquette Catholic High School Boys Soccer |
| 3 | | team recently completed its 2012 season; and
|
| 4 | | WHEREAS, The Explorers excelled throughout the season with |
| 5 | | a 20-6-1 record and advanced to the IHSA State 1A Finals in |
| 6 | | Normal; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, The team competed at its highest level and |
| 8 | | defeated Urbana University High School 4-1 to win the Illinois |
| 9 | | State Championship; and
|
| 10 | | WHEREAS, The members of this body recognize coaches Jeremy |
| 11 | | Sanfilippo and Tim Harmon and the Explorers for their hard work |
| 12 | | and commitment that has brought their school and communities |
| 13 | | this honor; therefore, be it
|
| 14 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 15 | | NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 16 | | we congratulate the members of the Marquette High School Boys |
| 17 | | Soccer Team on the occasion of their outstanding season and for |
| 18 | | winning the IHSA Class 1A Championship; and be it further

| 19 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 20 | | presented to Marquette High School Boys Soccer Team as a symbol |
