| 2 | | WHEREAS, February 22, 2013, marks the anniversary of 25 |
| 3 | | years in the ministry for Pastor Anthony D. Tyler, head pastor |
| 4 | | of Higher Ground Community Church; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Higher Ground Community Church is located at 415 |
| 6 | | Saginaw, Calumet City, Illinois; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Pastor Tyler has shown personal and spiritual |
| 8 | | commitment to the Lord by virtue of his 25 years of spiritual |
| 9 | | leadership and guidance to all; and
|
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Pastor Tyler has established an Annual Back To |
| 11 | | School Drive through Higher Ground Community Church and many |
| 12 | | citizens have benefited from his work; and
|
| 13 | | WHEREAS, The community has benefited from the influence and |
| 14 | | guidance of Pastor Tyler's years, as well as the many facets of |
| 15 | | his outreach and assistance to the community; therefore, be it
|
| 16 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 17 | | NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 18 | | we recognize, honor, and express pride and appreciation to |
| 19 | | Pastor Anthony D. Tyler for his personal achievements, numerous |
| 20 | | community contributions, and commitment as a spiritual leader |
