| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 | | Representatives are pleased to honor Liz Collins as she steps |
| 4 | | down from her position as president and CEO of the Plainfield |
| 5 | | Area Chamber of Commerce; and
|
| 6 | | WHEREAS, Liz Collins joined the chamber 20 years ago and |
| 7 | | volunteered on various committees for 7 years; she was |
| 8 | | originally asked to do some computer work for the office and 3 |
| 9 | | months later was offered the job of executive director; 2 years |
| 10 | | later she was named president and CEO; and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Liz Collins is stepping down to spend more time |
| 12 | | with her family; she plans on spending time with her children |
| 13 | | and grandchildren and traveling with her husband; therefore, be |
| 14 | | it
|
| 15 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 16 | | NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 17 | | we honor Liz Collins as she steps down from her position as |
| 18 | | president and CEO of the Plainfield Area Chamber of Commerce, |
| 19 | | thank her for her service, and wish her the best in all her |
| 20 | | future endeavours; and be it further
