| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 | | Representatives are pleased to congratulate Craig M. Gilmore on |
| 4 | | the occasion of his retirement from State Farm; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, After nearly 40 years of service to State Farm |
| 6 | | policyholders, Director of Multicultural Markets and Agency |
| 7 | | Field Executive Craig Gilmore, CPCU, will retire effective |
| 8 | | April 1, 2013; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Following his graduation from Illinois State |
| 10 | | University, Craig Gilmore began his State Farm career in 1973 |
| 11 | | as an auto underwriter in Bloomington; after 3 years in |
| 12 | | underwriting and a year as an operations supervisor, he spent |
| 13 | | 10 years in human resources, which included work in Illinois |
| 14 | | and Texas and 2 tours of duty at the corporate headquarters; |
| 15 | | and
|
| 16 | | WHEREAS, In 1988, Craig Gilmore became a scratch agent (new |
| 17 | | market) in Chicago and 3 years later became an agency manager; |
| 18 | | he moved from agency field leadership to an agency field |
| 19 | | executive in 1995 and then became State Farm's first regional |
| 20 | | director of multicultural markets; and
|
| 21 | | WHEREAS, Craig Gilmore has been an active community leader, |
