HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are pleased to
congratulate Plainfield Central 
4High School senior Jordan Ellingwood on the occasion of placing

5second in the Class 3A 195-pound IHSA State Wrestling 
6Championship; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Last year, Jordan Ellingwood finished third in the 
8182-pound division at the State
Championship; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Jordan Ellingwood is known for his all business, 
10tough-as-nails approach to
wrestling; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Jordan Ellingwood entered the preliminary round 
12with a 43-0 record and
dominated in his first 3 matches at 
13State before the extremely physical 2-1 tiebreaking

14championship match; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Jordan Ellingwood finished his wrestling season 
16with a record of 46-1; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Jordan Ellingwood is also recognized for his 
18skills as a running back for the
Plainfield Central football 
19team; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
2NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
3we congratulate Jordan
Ellingwood on placing second in IHSA 
4State Wrestling Championship; and be it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to Jordan Ellingwood
as a symbol of our respect and
