HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are pleased to honor Brian Pindar on being 
4selected as District 41's Educator of the Year; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Brian Pindar is a fifth-grade teacher at Abraham 
6Lincoln Elementary School in Glen Ellyn; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Brian Pindar was selected from among a field of 
8outstanding educators who were nominated by their peers within 
9the district; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Brian Pindar came up with the idea of extending 
11the social studies of the past into present day by inviting 
12senior citizens into the school to entertain them for a Senior 
13Tea; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Brian Pindar is a graduate of Eastern Illinois 
15University and was trained and student taught in District 41; 
16and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Brian Pindar was honored at the Chamber of 
18Commerce Community Awards Breakfast on March 16, 2013; 
19therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
2NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
3we honor Brian Pindar on being selected as District 41's 
4Educator of the Year and for his dedication to his students, 
5and we wish him success in the future; and be it further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to Brian Pindar as an expression of our esteem and 
8respect.
