HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are pleased to congratulate Kathy Renninger on 
4her retirement as Lake Villa Township Clerk; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Kathy Renninger started her service with Lake 
6Villa Township in April 1996 as township manager; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Kathy Renninger helped launch the Township 
8Transportation System as a partnership between Lake Villa, 
9Antioch, and Grant Townships providing destination-based 
10transportation to seniors; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Kathy Renninger was instrumental in founding the 
12Lake Villa Township entertainment lunch series for seniors, 
13with past themes including murder mystery, corned beef and 
14cabbage for St. Patrick's Day, and a New Year's casino 
15celebration; she has aided in expanding recreational and game 
16fields from 20 acres to over 100 acres including 9 baseball 
17fields, 3 soccer fields, and a football complex; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, Kathy Renninger has helped Lake Villa Township to 
19expand services for seniors, youth, and neighbors in need; and
  
 
20    WHEREAS, Kathy Renninger was elected Lake Villa Township

1Clerk on April 5, 2005; therefore, be it
  
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
3NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
4we congratulate Kathy Renninger on her retirement as Lake Villa 
5Township Clerk, thank her for her service to her community, and 
6wish her all the best in her future endeavours; and be it

8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9presented to Kathy Renninger as an expression of our esteem and 
10respect.
