HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of  Camillus 
4Joachim Wurtz of Pocahontas, Arkansas, who passed away on April 
514, 2013; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Camillus Wurtz was born on August 16, 1921, in 
7Pocahontas, Arkansas; his parents were Peter A. and Mary T. 
8Wurtz; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Camillus Wurtz served in the United States Army 
10Air Forces during World War II; he earned 4 Bronze Stars for 
11his meritorious service; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Camillus Wurtz retired from his business, 
13Builders Plumbing and Heating, in 1982, after many years of 
14dedicated service to his community; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Camillus Wurtz was preceded in death by his loving 
16wife of 63 years, Esther; his parents; his brothers, Zeno and 
17Sylvan; and his sisters, Juanita, Rosemary, and Beatrice; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, Camillus Wurtz is survived by his sons Sid (Rita) 
19Wurtz and Ron (Judy) Wurtz; his daughters, Camille (Joe) Myers 
20and Juanita (Joe) Cofer; his 7 grandchildren; his 6

1great-grandchildren; and his sister, Joanne DeGregorio; 
2therefore, be it
  
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
4NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
5we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of 
6Camillus Joachim Wurtz; and be it further
  
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to the family of Camillus Wurtz as an expression of 
9our sympathy.
