HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Angelo J. 
4Garbin, who passed away on April 14, 2013; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Angelo Garbin was born on July 16, 1946, in 
6Joliet; his parents were Beno and Carmella Garbin; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Angelo Garbin worked as an insurance agent for 
8Farmers Insurance Group for 30 years; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Angelo Garbin was a lifetime member of the 
10American Legion Harwood Post #5 since 1975; he was a member of 
11the United States Army from 1963 to 1967 as a member of the 
12158th United States Army Band; he was a member of the Joliet 
13West Kiwanis Club for over 20 years and a member of Will County 
14ABATE and the Joliet Harley Riders Group; he was also a 
15long-time musician; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Angelo Garbin was preceded in death by his father; 
17and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, Angelo Garbin is survived by his wife of 45 years, 
19Rita; his mother, Carmella; his sons, Joseph S. Garbin 
20(Deborah) and Steven P. Garbin (Bonnie); his sister, Mary-Ann

1Felkins (Dareld); his brother, Anthony B. Garbin (Jeannine); 
2his grandsons, Matthew J. Garbin, Stephen A. Garbin, and 
3Richard J. Garbin; and his special niece and godchild, Kim 
4Knor; therefore, be it
  
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
6NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
7we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of 
8Angelo J. Garbin; and be it further
  
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
10presented to the family of Angelo Garbin as an expression of 
11our sympathy.
