HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are pleased to congratulate Ricky Stenger on 
4achieving the rank of Eagle Scout; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Ricky Stenger is a member of Boy Scouts of America 
6Troop 497; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Ricky Stenger's Eagle Scout project involved 
8converting a small bathroom into a functional storage closet at 
9Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, where his troop meets; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Ricky Stenger recently graduated from Hoffman 
11Estates High School with a GPA of 3.45; he played 4 years of 
12football and lacrosse while in high school and volunteered at 
13his church in the junior high ministry and at the food pantry; 
14he has been accepted into the University of Missouri with the 
15goal of becoming a teacher; and
  
 
  
16    WHEREAS, The Eagle Scout Court of Honor for Ricky Stenger 
17will be held on June 15, 2013, at Prince of Peace Lutheran 
18Church near Hoffman Estates High School; his parents are Jeff 
19and Lisa Stenger; therefore, be it
  
 
20    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE

1NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
2we congratulate Ricky Stenger on achieving the rank of Eagle 
3Scout; and be it further

5presented to Ricky Stenger as an expression of our esteem and 
6respect.
