| 2 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 3 | | NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 4 | | we urge the General Assembly to adopt a law similar to Virginia |
| 5 | | Code Title 18.2, Chapter 5, Section 18.2-85 to prohibit the |
| 6 | | possession of materials from which fire bombs, explosive |
| 7 | | materials, or devices can be made with the intent to |
| 8 | | manufacture fire bombs, explosive materials, or devices; |
| 9 | | prohibit the manufacture, transport, distribution, possession, |
| 10 | | or use of a fire bomb, explosive material, or device; and |
| 11 | | prohibit the construction, use, placement, sending, or causing |
| 12 | | to be sent a hoax explosive device with the intent to cause |
| 13 | | another to believe the device is a bomb or explosive; and be it |
| 14 | | further

| 15 | | RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution be made |
| 16 | | available to the members of the General Assembly upon request.
