HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are pleased to congratulate Nicholas Fortney 
4on achieving the rank of Eagle Scout; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Nicholas Fortney's Eagle Scout project was 
6removing old bushes and trees and creating a new landscape for 
7the front entrance of the Living Christ Lutheran Church in 
8Hanover Park; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Nicholas Fortney is a member of Boy Scout Troop 
10389 of the Hanover Park Lions Club; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Nicholas Fortney, at the age of 16, is involved in 
12cross country, track and field, band, the Hanover Leo Club, and 
13is on the Honor Role at Hoffman Estates High School; and
  
 
  
14    WHEREAS, Nicholas Fortney's parents are Lisa and Tom 
15Fortney and he has a brother, Justin, who has also achieved the 
16rank of Eagle Scout; therefore, be it
  
 
17    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
18NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
19we congratulate Nicholas Fortney on achieving the rank of Eagle
