| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 | | Representatives wish to congratulate Officer Russ Chorley on |
| 4 | | the occasion of his retirement from the LaGrange Police |
| 5 | | Department after more than 29 years of service; and
|
| 6 | | WHEREAS, In addition to receiving the Chief's Award of |
| 7 | | Merit and 2 Unit Citation Awards, Russ Chorley was the |
| 8 | | recipient of the Life Saving Award in recognition of his act of |
| 9 | | bravery in saving a person from a burning car, injuring his arm |
| 10 | | in the process; and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Russ Chorley retired from the LaGrange Police |
| 12 | | Department on September 7, 2013, finishing a long and |
| 13 | | distinguished career in law enforcement; therefore, be it
|
| 14 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 15 | | NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 16 | | we congratulate Russ Chorley on the occasion of his retirement |
| 17 | | and wish him continued success and happiness in the future; and |
| 18 | | be it further

| 19 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 20 | | presented to Russ Chorley as a symbol of our esteem and |
| 21 | | respect.
