| 4 | | radio personality Don Wade; and

| 5 | | WHEREAS, Don Wade attended a prep school in New Hampshire |
| 6 | | and was a graduate of Boston University; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Don Wade spent 55 years on the radio; after |
| 8 | | spending the first half of his radio career as a disc jockey, |
| 9 | | he spent the last 27 years of his career at WLS-AM; and
|
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Don Wade's radio career led him to at least 10 |
| 11 | | other cities, including one in Canada, before he landed in |
| 12 | | Chicago in 1982 as a morning personality at country music |
| 13 | | station WUSN-FM 99.5; and
|
| 14 | | WHEREAS, In 1985, Don Wade won a spot at WLS-AM, where his |
| 15 | | wife, Roma Wade, joined him as co-host; and |
| 16 | | WHEREAS, When WLS-AM changed from a music format to talk |
| 17 | | radio in 1989, Don Wade and Roma remained with the station as |
| 18 | | morning talk show hosts; and |
| 19 | | WHEREAS, In 2010, "Don Wade and Roma" was the highest-rated |
