HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of  Glenda 
4Green of Waukegan, who passed away on October 11, 2013; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Glenda Green was born on September 10, 1952 in 
6Sheffield, Alabama; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Glenda Green served as a caseworker in Warren 
8Township for 14 years; she was also the owner and operator of 
9White Lightning Cleaning in Gurnee for 13 years; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Glenda Green was preceded in death by her 
11daughter, Ashley Sparks, and her brother, Michael Green; and

  
 
12    WHEREAS, Glenda Green was the beloved daughter of Alvie L. 
13and Lennie P. (nee Smith) Green; the loving mother of Tina 
14(Tim) Turner and Tiffany (Eric) King; the grandmother of 
15Matthew and Mason Turner and Kayleigh and Cameron King; the 
16dear sister of Kathy (Julio) Polanco, Donna Roberts, and Tony 
17(Sarah) Green; the adored aunt of 10; the great-aunt of 4; and 
18the fond cousin of many; therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
20NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that

1we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of 
2Glenda Green; and be it further
  
 
3    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
