HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are pleased to congratulate Judith Dunne 
4Bernardi on the occasion of her retirement as Norridge Village 
5Clerk; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Judith Dunne Bernardi began her term as Village 
7Clerk in May 1996; she also served as the Customer Service 
8Department head; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Judith Dunne Bernardi represents the City of 
10Norridge on the O'Hare Noise Compatibility Commission, where 
11she has served as Treasurer; she is Vice-Chair of the 
12Residential Sound Insulation Committee and is a member of the 
13Technical Committee; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Judith Dunne Bernardi's directorships include the 
15Ridgewood High School Foundation, Norridge Cares, and Central 
16Baptist Village, where she is Secretary of the Board of 
17Directors; and
  
 
  
18    WHEREAS, Judith Dunne Bernardi and her husband, John, have 
19lived in Norridge since 1973; she is a graduate, with High 
20Honors, of DePaul University and of the Municipal Clerks' 
21Institute; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
2NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
3we congratulate Judith Dunne Bernardi on her retirement as 
4Norridge Village Clerk and wish her the best with all her 
5future endeavors; and be it further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to Judith Dunne Bernardi as an expression of our 
8esteem and respect.
