HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Jazmyne 
4JoAnn Harris, who passed away on October 24, 2013; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Jazmyne Harris was born on October 19, 1999 in 
6Peoria to Christopher Harris and Gretchen Widger; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Jazmyne Harris was an 8th-grade honor roll student 
8as well as a National Honor Roll member at Martin City School 
9in Martin City, Missouri; she enjoyed school and learning and 
10was an avid fan of One Direction and Justin Bieber; and
  
 
  
11    WHEREAS, Jazmyne Harris passed away along side of her 
12step-father, Justin Williams; she was preceded in death by her 
13grandfathers, Gregory Widger and James Harris; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Jazmyne Harris is survived by her mother, Gretchen 
15Williams; her sister, Andrea; her father, Christopher Harris; 
16her brothers, Justin, Jr. and Christopher Harris; her 
17grandparents, Rick and Emma Descamps, Bill and Judy Whitman, 
18Rita Williams, Lafelda Jones, and Clifford Williams; and a host 
19of other relatives and many friends; therefore, be it
  
 
20    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE

1NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
2we mourn the passing of Jazmyne JoAnn Harris, and extend our 
3sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew 
4and loved her; and be it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of Jazmyne Harris as an expression of 
7our deepest sympathy.
