| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 | | Representatives are pleased to congratulate sophomore Sydney |
| 4 | | Dusel of Naperville Central High School on winning the 2013 |
| 5 | | State championship in diving; and
|
| 6 | | WHEREAS, Sydney Dusel has only been participating in the |
| 7 | | sport of diving for 2 years now and has already claimed a State |
| 8 | | championship with a score of 450.55 points, beating her closest |
| 9 | | opponent by 24 points; and
|
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Sydney Dusel is the first female diver in |
| 11 | | Naperville Central High School history to win State; and
|
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Sydney Dusel saved her 3 most difficult dives for |
| 13 | | the end so she could have a "big finish" and clinched the State |
| 14 | | title with a 2-1/2 twister; therefore, be it
|
| 15 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 16 | | NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 17 | | we congratulate Sydney Dusel on winning the 2013 State |
| 18 | | championship in diving, and wish her the best in all her future |
| 19 | | endeavors; and be it further
