HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to congratulate Judy L. Mowery on the occasion of her retirement as Administrative Deputy Coroner with the McLean County Coroner's Office; and

WHEREAS, Judy Mowery has worked as the Administrative Deputy Coroner since April of 2002; and

WHEREAS, As Administrative Deputy Coroner, Judy Mowery was responsible for numerous office duties including payroll, scheduling, correspondence, typing, applying for grants, managing Freedom of Information requests, inventory, and ordering; she would respond to deaths when case loads warranted; and

WHEREAS, Judy Mowery was the first person contact with all members of the public and maintained a good rapport and working relationship with neighboring coroners, law enforcement agencies, funeral directors, and State and county agencies and their staff; and

WHEREAS, Prior to working with the McLean County Coroner's Office, Judy Mowery worked for Heyworth School District #4, Revere Ware/Crown Corning Outlet Stores, and Illinois State University; and

WHEREAS, Judy Mowery is a registered Emergency Medical Technician and a member of the Heyworth Volunteer Ambulance Service; she served on the Parish Council of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, previously serving as the first woman Parish Council President, and she is on the Emergency Telephone System Board and the Heartland Community College Board for EMS curriculum; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Judy L. Mowery on her retirement as Administrative Deputy Coroner with the McLean County Coroner's Office, and wish her the best in all her future endeavors; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Judy Mowery as an expression of our esteem and respect.
