HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of  James L. 
4Womick of Hurst, who passed away on December 10, 2013; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, James Womick was born on April 3, 1944 in Anna; 
6his parents were William and Helen (nee Jones) Womick; he 
7married Rosaria Colletti on April 14, 1973; she preceded him in 
8death; he later married Dana Rice on December 28, 1997; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, James Womick was the owner and operator of A & J 
10Freight then Red Ball Trucking Company for many years; he most 
11recently managed the worker's compensation division of Womick 
12Law Firm; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, James Womick enjoyed rabbit hunting, family 
14gatherings, and home improvement projects; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, James Womick was preceded in death by his parents; 
16and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, James Womick is survived by his wife, Dana Womick; 
18his children, Janet Womick, Jim F. Womick, Jerry "Bear" (Lisa) 
19Womick, Joe (Linda) Womick, Austin Rice, and Evan Rice; his 
20siblings, Jack (A.R.) Womick, John (Jane) Womick, and Debra

1(Ruane) Tanner; his grandchildren, Brandon, Dustin, Haley, 
2Hunter, Phoenix, Robi, Macey, Kristyn, Taylor, Braelyn, and 
3Blake; his mothers-in-law, Mary Colletti and Carolyn Sue Rice; 
4and his many other nieces, nephews, other special relatives, 
5and friends; therefore, be it
  
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
7NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
8we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of 
9James L. Womick; and be it further
  
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
11presented to the family of James Womick as an expression of our 
12sympathy.
