HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are pleased to congratulate Pat Walker on her 
4dog, Mr. Fritz, winner of "Best in Breed" at the Westminster 
5Dog Show in New York City; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Mr. Fritz, a German Shepherd, was named the 
7nation's "top dog" in his category; he loves the attention of 
8the crowd and enjoys playing it up when they start cheering; 
9and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Mr. Fritz, whose full name is Grand Champion Wolf 
11Creek Galaxy of Merivern, comes from a litter of 12 puppies 
12that boasts 8 champions; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Mr. Fritz has 99 lifetime wins and Pat Walker 
14plans to retire him when he hits 100; and
  
 
  
15    WHEREAS, Pat Walker and her husband, Kenneth "Doc" Walker, 
16run Walker Standardbreds, a horse farm outside of Sherman, 
17where they have bred racehorses for nearly 40 years, and 9 
18years ago, began breeding show dogs; therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
20NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that

1we congratulate Pat Walker on her dog, Mr. Fritz, winner of
