HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are pleased to congratulate the Lena-Winslow 
4High School football team, the Panthers, on winning the 2013 
5Illinois High School Association Class 1A State Football 
6Championship; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, The Panthers claimed its championship by 
8defeating Downs Tri-Valley by a score of 28 to 21 on November 
929, 2013 in DeKalb at Northern Illinois University; and
  
 

  
10    WHEREAS, The Panthers previously won the 2010 State 
11Championship, making the 2013 championship the second one in 
12the program's history; and
 
13    WHEREAS, The Panthers are Adam Wright, Jordan Lee, Mitchell 
14Mikesell, Brendan Eilders, Daylan Chumbler, Brock Fransen, 
15Luke Schubert, Joe Robinson, Tanner Lawfer, Bailey Litow, Ben 
16Moest, Colton Drye, Hollace Julius, Brenton Chumbler, Brandon 
17Seuring, Payden Lingle, Nathan Switzer, Tyler Oakley, Danny

8Benhoff, and Lenny Koehler; therefore, be it
  
 
9    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
10NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
11we congratulate the Lena-Winslow High School football team, the 
12Panthers, on winning the 2013 State Championship, and wish them 
13many more years of success; and be it further
  
 
14    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
15presented to the Panthers as an expression of our esteem and 
16respect.
