| 3 | | Representatives wish to congratulate Jeffrey Manus of Freeport |
| 4 | | High School on the occasion of his victory at the 2014 IHSA |
| 5 | | speech finals; and

| 6 | | WHEREAS, After securing victory in 2014 Downers Grove South |
| 7 | | Tournament and the Dramatic Duet Acting and Dramatic |
| 8 | | Interpretation portions of the 2014 IHSA Regional and Sectional |
| 9 | | Tournaments, Jeffrey Manus won the 2014 IHSA State Championship |
| 10 | | in Dramatic Interpretation with ranks of 1,1,1,1,2; and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Jeffrey Manus is a 3-time IHSA State Speaker and |
| 12 | | served as Freeport High School's team captain during the |
| 13 | | 2013-2014 school year; and
|
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Jeffrey Manus serves as a model of hard work, |
| 15 | | integrity, and dedication for the people of the State of |
| 16 | | Illinois; therefore, be it

| 17 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 18 | | NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 19 | | we congratulate Jeffrey Manus on the occasion of his victory at |
