HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are pleased to congratulate Sean Ward, of 
4Winnebago High School, on becoming the 2014 Illinois High 
5School Association Class 1A 182-pound Division Wrestling State 
6Champion; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Sean Ward compiled a record of 36 wins and 1 loss 
8on his way to capturing his State championship, with his only 
9loss coming during the 3rd match of the season to the eventual 
10Class 3A 195-pound Division champion; he qualified for State 
11his junior year; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Sean won his State championship by pinning his 
13opponent in the 2nd period; and
  
 

  
14    WHEREAS, Sean Ward was an All-State this year with 
15Winnebago High School's playoff football team and he hopes to 
16continue playing football, most likely at the University of 
17Wisconsin-Lacrosse; therefore, be it
  
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
19NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
20we congratulate Sean Ward on becoming the 2014 Illinois High 
21School Association Class 1A 182-pound Division Wrestling State
