HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are pleased to congratulate the cheerleaders 
4of Lincoln-Way East High School in Frankfort on winning the 
5Illinois High School Association (IHSA) State Cheerleading 
6Championship on February 8, 2014; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, The Lincoln-Way East High School cheerleaders, 
8the Griffins, toppled their competition in the preliminary 
9rounds of the IHSA finals on February 7, 2014, finishing at the 
10top of their division; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, After posting the top score in their division on 
12the first day of competition, the Griffins put up another 
13top-notch routine in the final round and held on to take the 
142014 IHSA Large Division Cheerleading State Championship at 
15U.S. Cellular Coliseum in Bloomington; and
  
 

  
16    WHEREAS, The Griffins put up a final score of 97.06, 
17beating runner-up Neuqua Valley's 95.00 and third-place 
18finisher Providence Catholic's 93.94; therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
20NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
21we congratulate the Lincoln-Way East High School cheerleaders,

3    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
