HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate  the members of the 
4Glenbard West High School Girls Cross Country Team on the 
5occasion of their victory in the IHSA Class 3A Championship; 
6and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Glenbard West High School is a public 4-year high 
8school located at the corner of Ellyn Avenue and Crescent 
9Boulevard in Glen Ellyn; the school was constructed in 1922; 
10and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, The Glenbard West Girls Cross Country Team 
12defeated the competition with a score of 75 points to claim 
13victory at the IHSA Class 3A Cross-Country Championship on 
14November 9, 2013, winning the school's first State 
15championship; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, The members of the Glenbard West Girls Cross 
17Country Team are Madeline Perez, Lisa Luczak, Lindsay Graham, 
18Grace Rogers, Janie Nabholz, Kathryn Kenwood, and Megan Ozog; 
19the team's head coach is Paul Hass; and

  
 
20    WHEREAS, The members of the Glenbard West Girls Cross 
21Country Team serve as models of hard work, integrity, and

1dedication for the people of the State of Illinois; therefore, 
2be it
  
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
4NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
5we congratulate the members of the Glenbard West High School 
6Girls Cross Country Team on the occasion of their victory in 
7the IHSA Class 3A Championship and wish them continued success 
8and happiness in the future; and be it further
  
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
10presented to the Glenbard West High School Girls Cross Country 
11Team as a symbol of our esteem and respect.
