HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate  Ed Heineman on the 
4occasion of his retirement as principal of Colene Hoose 
5Elementary School; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Ed Heineman has been a fixture in central Illinois 
7schools for 38 year; after spending 11 years as a teacher at 
8Central Catholic High School and Lexington High School, he went 
9on to become a principal at Holy Trinity Catholic School in 
10Bloomington; he moved to McLean County Unit 5 about 20 years 
11ago to serve as the principal of Chiddix Junior High; he 
12subsequently became the principal of Colene Hoose Elementary 
13School, where he served for 10 years; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Ed Heineman is a diehard Bruce Springsteen fan; he 
15also enjoys spending time with his grandchildren, golfing, 
16reading, and watching Illinois State University softball; and

  
 
17    WHEREAS, Ed Heineman and his wife, Alyce, plan to spend 
18their retirement between Normal and their home in the Ozarks; 
19and
  
 
20    WHEREAS, Ed Heineman serves as a model of hard work, 
21integrity, and dedication for the people of the State of

1Illinois; therefore, be it
  
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
3NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
4we congratulate Ed Heineman on the occasion of his retirement 
5and wish him continued success and happiness in the future; and 
6be it further
  
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to Ed Heineman as a symbol of our esteem and respect.
