HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate  Rev. John Crawford, Jr. 
4and Faith, Inc. Community Advisory Group for District 1 on the 
5occasion of the organization's 15th anniversary on May 2, 2014; 
6and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Faith, Inc. (For Action in Togetherness 
8Holdfast), is a non-profit activist organization in the Austin 
9community; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Faith, Inc. works with the Illinois Department of 
11Corrections and over 75 other social service organizations 
12providing services in the Austin community; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Among the group's work is advocating for 
14ex-offenders re-integrating into society with their families 
15and providing resources to those striving to get back on their 
16feet financially; and

  
 
17    WHEREAS, Reverend John Crawford, Jr. and Faith, Inc. have 
18remained committed to their continued service in the Austin 
19community; therefore, be it
  
 
20    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE

1NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
2we congratulate Rev. John Crawford, Jr. and Faith, Inc. 
3Community Advisory Group for District 1 on the occasion of the 
4organization's 15th anniversary, commend the organization on 
5its efforts, and wish its members much continued success in 
6their future endeavors; and be it further
  
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution presented 
8to Faith, Inc. as a symbol of our respect and esteem.
