HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Nita Jo 
4(nee Bush) Smith of Wickliffe, Kentucky, who passed away on May 
515, 2014; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Nita Smith worked as a customer service 
7representative for 13 years at First National Bank; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Nita Smith was a member of First Baptist Church in 
9Wickliffe, Kentucky for over 30 years and was a member of Ruth 
10Class; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Nita Smith enjoyed spending time outdoors, 
12stargazing, and trying new things such as hiking; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Nita Smith was preceded in death by her parents, 
14Peter Mickley and Jessie Lea (nee Moore) Bush and by one 
15brother, Phillip Bush; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Nita Smith is survived by her husband, Mike Smith; 
17one son, Craig Smith and wife, Caroline; two sisters, Carol 
18Kachadorian and husband, Mike and Karen Marquart and husband, 
19Rick; 3 brothers, Peter Bush and wife, Sherry, Jim Bush, and 
20Randy Bush and wife, Zina; and one granddaughter, Claire

2    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
3NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
4we mourn the passing of Nita Jo Smith, and extend our sincere 
5condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved 
6her; and be it further
  
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to the family of Nita Smith as an expression of our 
9deepest sympathy.
