HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to recognize Linda Zimmerman on her 20 
4years of service to the one-room schoolhouse located in Hoosier 
5Grove Park in Streamwood; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Linda Zimmerman has provided untiring and 
7inspirational service as a docent and museum educator in the 
8last surviving one-room schoolhouse in the State; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, During Linda Zimmerman's years of service, she 
10took visitors from local neighborhoods and foreign countries 
11into a time capsule glimpse of what it was like to be a student 
12in a 1900-era one-room schoolhouse and their everyday life; 
13every visitor left the schoolhouse with knowledge they did not 
14have before; and
  
 

  
15    WHEREAS, Linda Zimmerman's dedication, professionalism, 
16and personal enthusiasm are geared toward hands-on tours, and 
17produces museum quality exhibits and displays that are a 
18testament to her remarkable character; therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
20NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
21we recognize Linda Zimmerman on her 20 years of service to the

1one-room schoolhouse located in Hosier Grove Park in 
2Streamwood; and be it further
  
 
3    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
4presented to Linda Zimmerman as an expression of our esteem and
