HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of  Thomas J. 
4McManus; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Thomas McManus retired as the General 
6Superintendent of the City of Chicago Department of Water after 
7many years of service; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Thomas McManus was a loyal and dedicated member 
9and officer of the Chicago Journeymen Plumbers Union Local 130 
10for over 50 years; he retired from Local 130 as a Business 
11Agent; and

  
 
12    WHEREAS, Thomas McManus was the devoted husband of Ginny 
13(nee Dwyer); the loving father of Laura (Louie) Gonzales and 
14Kathleen (Michael) Tierney; the proud grandfather of Tommy 
15Gonzales; the dear brother of Kathleen and the late James 
16McManus; the son of the late Thomas and Beatrice McManus; and 
17the fond uncle of many; therefore, be it
  
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
19NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
20we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of 
21Thomas J. McManus; and be it further
