AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 636 




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 636, AS AMENDED, 
3with reference to page and line numbers of House Amendment No. 
43, as follows:


 
5on page 3, by replacing lines 9 through 20 with the following:
6    "fixed-price meal package if: (A) the meal package consists 
7    primarily of prepared food served in a sit-down meal 
8    setting, including a sit-down buffet; (B) the number of 
9    individuals participating in the meal package does not 
10    exceed the number of place settings available in the room 
11    in which the meal package is being offered; (C) the 
12    licensee restricts the service of the meal package to not 
13    less than 2 hours and not more than 5 hours; (D) the 
14    licensee is separately licensed for the on premise sale and 
15    consumption of alcoholic liquor; and (E) the licensee's 
16    employees or agents serve alcoholic liquor provided as part 
17    of the meal package only in single servings to individual

1    patrons in the manner such alcoholic liquor is customarily 
2    sold for on premise consumption. For the purposes of this 
3    paragraph (2), a "sit-down meal setting" means a setting 
4    where each individual participating in a meal package has 
5    his or her own seat, table space, and place setting for the 
6    entire duration of the meal package. For the purposes of 
7    this paragraph (2), a meal consisting primarily of  snacks, 
8    hors d'oeuvres, or appetizers, or any combination thereof, 
9    does not constitute a meal package;".
