| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Food Handling Regulation Enforcement Act is |
| 5 | | amended by adding Section 5 as follows:

| 7 | | Sec. 5. Latex gloves; notice. A food service establishment |
| 8 | | where natural rubber latex gloves are used for the preparation |
| 9 | | or conveyance of food for consumers shall provide notice to its |
| 10 | | patrons by means of signs, printed materials, or other |
| 11 | | communication to read as follows: "Latex gloves are used by |
| 12 | | staff in the preparation and conveyance of food in this |
| 13 | | establishment. If you are allergic to latex products, please |
| 14 | | take appropriate precautions.". |
