Makes an appropriation to the Illinois Court of Claims from the General Revenue Fund for the payment of a claim. Effective immediately.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The following named amount is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Illinois Court of Claims to pay a claim for damages in a prior year regardless of whether sufficient funds lapsed in the appropriation accounts out of which payment for the damages would have been made. The specific claim to be paid, in conformity with the recommendations made by the Court of Claims is as follows:
No. 07-CC-0298, MJC Constructors, Inc., against the Illinois Department of Transportation.................... $87,442.55
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon becoming law.
