Amends the State Finance Act. Prohibits the Wireless Carrier Reimbursement Fund from being subject to sweeps, administrative charge-backs, or any other fiscal or budgetary maneuver that would in any way transfer any amount from that Fund into any other fund of the State. Effective immediately.

| 1 | | AN ACT concerning finance.
|
| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 | | Section 5. The State Finance Act is amended by adding |
| 5 | | Section 50 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (30 ILCS 105/50 new) |
| 7 | | Sec. 50. Fund sweeps. Notwithstanding any provision of law |
| 8 | | to the contrary, the Wireless Carrier Reimbursement Fund, |
| 9 | | listed under Section 5.531 of this Act, shall not be subject to |
| 10 | | sweeps, administrative charge-backs, or any other fiscal or |
| 11 | | budgetary maneuver that would in any way transfer any amount |
| 12 | | from that Fund into any other fund of the State.

| 13 | | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
| 14 | | becoming law.
