| 2 | | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2727 as follows:

| 3 | | on page 11, line 12, by deleting "or over the counter"; and
|
| 4 | | on page 12, line 24, after "product", by inserting ", except |
| 5 | | for an over the counter drug,"; and
|
| 6 | | on page 13, line 1, after "product", by inserting ", except for |
| 7 | | an over the counter drug,"; and
|
| 8 | | on page 13, immediately below line 2, by inserting the |
| 9 | | following:
|
| 10 | | "(e) Effective December 31, 2018, no person shall |
| 11 | | manufacture for sale a personal care product classified as an |
| 12 | | over the counter drug that contains synthetic plastic |
| 13 | | microbeads as defined in this Section.
