The members of the State Board shall be |
| 8 | | citizens and residents of the
State of Illinois and shall be |
| 9 | | selected as far as may be practicable on the
basis of their |
| 10 | | knowledge of, or interest and experience in,
community |
| 11 | | colleges. No member of the State Board shall hold current
|
| 12 | | membership on a school board or board of trustees of a public |
| 13 | | or non-public
university or technical institute or be employed |
| 14 | | by the State or
federal government. |
| 15 | | This Section does not prohibit a member of the State Board
|
| 16 | | from being employed by a public community college.
