SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Douglas Stacy Rostron of Waukegan, who 
4passed away on January 25, 2013; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Douglas Rostron  was born on March 22, 1960, in 
6Waukegan to Thomas and Eleanor Rostron; he attended Waukegan 
7Public Schools and was a resident of Lamb's Farm; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Douglas Rostron was an accomplished swimmer, 
9winning several Gold Medals in the Illinois Special Olympics; 
10his sweet and gentle nature was an inspiration to all who knew 
11him; and
  
 
  
12    WHEREAS, Douglas Rostron was preceded in death by his 
13father, Thomas A. Rostron; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Douglas Rostron is survived by his step-father, 
15William A. Jansen; his sister, Janet (Raymond) Piedmonte; his 
16brother, Paul Gray (Cindi) Rostron; his nephews, Gray, Daniel, 
17Kevin, Bradley, Russ, and Carson; and his niece, Kacie; 
18therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
20ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of

1Douglas Rostron, and we extend our sincere condolences to his 
2family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it

4    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
