SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of William F. McGrain of Naples, Florida, 
4formerly of Waukegan, who passed away on January 12, 2013; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, William McGrain was born on December 14, 1933, in 
6Waukegan to Francis and Kathleen Duffy McGrain; and
  
 
  
7    WHEREAS, William McGrain devoted his life to caring for his 
8family, and after his retirement, to caring for his church; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, William McGrain was preceded by his parents and 
10his first wife, Margaret Niva; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, William McGrain is the beloved husband of Adrienne 
12McGrain; father of Rhonda Storc and Mary Ann Stiefel; 
13stepfather of Leslie Kaiser, Matthew Brandstetter, Brian 
14Brandstetter, and Barbara Brandstetter; grandfather of Erin 
15Endress, Jared Stiefel, Kaitlyn Storc, Alyson Stiefel, and 
16Jaclyn Stiefel; step-grandfather of Nicholas Read, Philip 
17Read, Tyler Brandstetter, and William Brandstetter; brother of 
18Patricia Schmitz, David McGrain, Leo McGrain, and Jim McGrain; 
19therefore, be it
  
 
20    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
2William McGrain, and we extend our sincere condolences to his 
3family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it

5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of William McGrain as an expression of 
7our deepest sympathy.
