SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Robert Charles Marks of Lake Forest, 
4formerly of North Chicago, who passed away on January 28, 2013; 
5and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Robert Marks was born on May 19, 1931, in 
7Waukegan; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Robert Marks served his country with pride as a 
9member of the United States Air Force; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Robert Marks was employed as a personal chauffeur 
11for many families in Lake Forest and on the North Shore; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Robert Marks was preceded in death by his parents, 
13James and Frances Marks, his brother, James (the late Lorraine) 
14Marks; and his sister, Marge (the late Joseph) Kimpler; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Robert Marks is survived by his wife, Desa Pernek 
16Marks; his children, James (Connie) Marks, Lynette Ross, and 
17Anita (Randal) Constantino; his grandchildren, Merissa and 
18Danielle Marks, Dustin Gehrig, Erinne (Kyle) Lehman, and Jenny 
19(Ryan) McCormick; his great-granddaughter, Reese McCormick; 
20his sisters, Jane (the late Larry) Hissem and Patricia (Ben)

1Miller; and his many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
  
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
4his family and friends, the passing of Robert Charles Marks; 
5and be it further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to the family of Robert Marks as an expression of our 
8sympathy.
