SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Carolyn Bernice Alexander of Jerseyville, 
4who passed away on February 5, 2013; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Carolyn Alexander was born on December 12, 1951, 
6in Carrollton to George F. and Bernice E. (Price) Alexander; 
7and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Carolyn Alexander retired after working 36 years 
9at Jerseyville Nursing and Rehab as a certified nursing 
10assistant; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Carolyn Alexander  was a member of First Assembly 
12of God Church in Jerseyville; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Carolyn Alexander was preceded in death by her 
14parents, and her brothers, Jim, Gary, and Ronnie Alexander; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Carolyn Alexander is survived by her brothers, 
16Floyd E. (Diane) Alexander and Larry J. (Julie) Alexander; her 
17nieces, Kayla (Dave) McGuire, Kim (Ron) Stufflebean, Katie 
18Alexander (Lincoln Holmes), Beth (Andy) Denton, Karen 
19Alexander (Chad Malloy), Kristie (Brad) Ross, Alyssa 
20Alexander, and Kari Jo Alexander; and many great-nieces and

1great-nephews; therefore, be it
  
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
4Carolyn Alexander, and we extend our sincere condolences to her 
5family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it 
6further
  
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to the family of Carolyn Alexander as an expression 
9of our deepest sympathy.
