SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Alyce Kirkley of Beach Park, who passed 
4away on January 27, 2013; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Alyce Kirkley was born on September 5, 1935, in 
6Waukegan; she married Paul Kirkley on March 14, 1994; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Alyce Kirkley was a 1953 graduate of Zion-Benton 
8Township High School; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Alyce Kirkley was employed by Eagle Foods for 30 
10years in the meat department; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Alyce Kirkley was a member of the Waukegan Moose 
12Lodge; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Alyce Kirkley was preceded in death by her 
14parents, Joseph and Rachel Martinez; her brother, Robert 
15Martinez; her sister, Sandy Benn; and her nephews, Bobby 
16Martinez and Shawn Patrick O'Reilly; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Alyce Kirkley is survived by her husband, Paul 
18Kirkley; her son, Aaron Kutchnik; her sisters, Mary Lou Nelson, 
19Irene Farrand, and Arlene Maze; and her many nieces, nephews,

1great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives, and friends; 
2therefore, be it
  
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
5her family and friends, the passing of Alyce Kirkley; and be it 
6further
  
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to the family of Alyce Kirkley as an expression of 
9our sympathy.
