SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Lillian C. Shamorian of Waukegan, who 
4passed away on February 18, 2013; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Lillian Shamorian was born on February 7, 1924, in 
6North Chicago to Paul and Josephine Dolence; she married Frank 
7Shamorian on December 30, 1944, in Waukegan; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Lillian Shamorian worked as an office manager for 
9Drs. Janks, Mitchell, & Sarsha until her retirement in 1991; 
10she was a member of St. Anastasia Church and the K.SK.J.; and
  
 
  
11    WHEREAS, Lillian Shamorian was preceded in death by her 
12husband, Frank; her parents; and her sister, Dolores Madura; 
13and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Lillian Shamorian is survived by her children, 
15Vaughn (Carol) Shamorian and Valerie (James) Pantel; her 
16grandchildren, Laura (Will) Gossin, Kyle Shamorian, and 
17Jessica and Jason Pantel; her brother, James (Anta) Dolence; 
18and her nieces, nephews, and cousins; therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
20ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of

1Lillian Shamorian, and we extend our sincere condolences to her 
2family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
