SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Betty E. Greenberg of  Alton, who passed 
4away on March 16, 2013; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Betty Greenberg was born on December 31, 1936, in 
6Alton to Joseph and Mildred (Tendick) Hawkins; she married 
7Raymond Greenberg in Alton on August 31, 1957; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Betty Greenberg enjoyed going out to eat and 
9spending time talking on her CB Radio; and
  
 
  
10    WHEREAS, Betty Greenberg was preceded in death by her 
11parents; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Betty Greenberg is survived by her husband, 
13Raymond; her sons, Ray (Diane) Greenberg and Joseph (Chris) 
14Greenberg; her daughter, Mildred (Mark) Lanham; her 
15grandchildren and their spouses, Andrea and Ryan Leach, Peter 
16and Kayla Greenberg, Katelyn Greenberg, Chloe Greenberg, 
17Anthony Lanham, Amanda Lanham, Elizabeth Lanham, Megan Lanham, 
18Heather and Keith Gallup, and Nick and Autumn Greenberg; and 
19her great-grandchildren, Isabella Greenberg, Calvin Greenberg, 
20Keigan Gallup, Haylea Greenberg, and Zoie Greenberg;

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Betty Greenberg, and we extend our sincere condolences to her 
4family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it 
5further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to the family of Betty Greenberg as an expression of 
8our deepest sympathy.
