| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Clair Hogan; and

| 4 | | WHEREAS, Clair Hogan served his country with pride as a |
| 5 | | member of the United States Armed Forces during World War II; |
| 6 | | and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Clair Hogan was a long-time manager at the United |
| 8 | | States Postal Service and Liquid Carbonic; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Clair Hogan was an active member at St. Thomas |
| 10 | | More; he was involved with Recording for the Blind, Boosters, |
| 11 | | and the Marist Fathers Club and served as a baseball coach; he |
| 12 | | was also voted Mayor of 84th Street by his peers; and
|
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Clair Hogan was an avid fan of the Chicago White |
| 14 | | Sox; and
|
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Clair Hogan was preceded in death by his wife of |
| 16 | | 68 years, Mary; his brothers, John, Michael, Daniel, Thomas, |
| 17 | | Bernard, and Emmett; and his sister, Marie; and |
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Clair Hogan was the loving father of Kathryn |
| 19 | | Nilson, Mary Rose (Patrick) Hennessy, Rita (Dr. David) Durkin, |
