SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Marilyn Vedner of Antioch, formerly of 
4Waukegan, who passed away on December 30, 2012; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Marilyn Vedner was born on June 16, 1960, in 
6Waukegan to Rudy and Dorothea Rome; she married Michael A. 
7Vedner; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Marilyn Vedner retired in March 2010 as a 
9receiving clerk for Jewel Food stores after 32 years of 
10employment; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Marilyn Vedner was a member of St. Peters Catholic 
12Parish in Antioch; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Marilyn Vedner was preceded in death by her 
14parents; her father-in-law, Norman O. Vedner; and her 
15mother-in-law, Mary Elizabeth Vedner; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Marilyn Vedner is survived by her husband; her 
17sister and best friend, Carol "Freddy" Rome; her brothers, 
18Charlie (Frankie)  and Ronald (Mary) Rome; her  sister, Louise 
19(Larry) Angelos; many nieces and nephews; and her godson, Rudy 
20Angelos; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Marilyn Vedner, and we extend our sincere condolences to her 
4family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it 
5further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to the family of Marilyn Vedner as an expression of 
8our deepest sympathy.
