SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Robert Dodd; and
  
 
4    WHEREAS, Robert Dodd was a partner of the law firm of Dodd 
5and Maatuka; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Robert Dodd served with distinction as the Mayor 
7of the City of Champaign for many years; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Robert Dodd was a Rotarian and served on the board 
9of the Urban League; he was also active in AMBUCS and in 
10numerous city government functions; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Robert Dodd was a former priest and an active 
12member at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Urbana; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Robert Dodd enjoyed spending time with his family, 
14and camping and taking trips in a motor home with his loved 
15ones; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Robert Dodd is survived by his wife, Joyce; his 6 
17children; and his 13 grandchildren; therefore, be it
  
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
2his family and friends, the passing of Robert Dodd; and be it

4    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be

6sympathy.
